You're not quitting your phone. Nobody is. Redlens just changes what's between you and it.

Redlens is a 9H tempered-glass screen protector with a red-tinted layer built into the glass that filters blue light. In independent SGS lab testing, it filtered 28.21% of HEV blue light. No app, no settings, no remembering to turn anything on. It's just always there.

Why not just use Night Shift? Night Shift is software. It only works when it's on, and it changes your screen's colors. Redlens is a physical filter in the glass. Always on, every app, every hour.

Warm light,
by design.

Redlens uses a red-tinted layer inside the tempered glass to filter out cooler blue wavelengths before they reach your eyes. It's the same idea behind blue-light glasses and night-time lighting — less blue exposure, especially after dark.

FAQ

Honest answers
to real questions.

Yes. The red-tinted layer in the glass is designed to filter out a portion of the cooler blue wavelengths your screen emits before they reach your eyes. It works passively — there's nothing to turn on.
There's a subtle warm tint to the glass since it's red-tinted, but your display stays readable and bright. The point isn't to recolor your phone — it's to cut down the harsh blue light coming off the screen.
For everyday use — scrolling, texting, browsing, watching — you won't be bothered. If you're doing serious color-critical photo editing, any tinted protector (or blue-light filter) isn't ideal, so that's worth knowing. One heads-up: selfies taken in direct outdoor sun can pick up a slight red tint. Indoors, you won't notice.
Yes. FaceID works right through it and touch response stays crisp and accurate. You won't notice a difference in how your phone responds.
Not at all. Clean your screen with the included cloth and dust sticker, set the alignment tray on, and drop it in. Most people are done in about a minute.
Redlens is cut for iPhone 13 through 17 Pro Max, plus iPhone Air. Make sure you pick your exact model at checkout.
Both. It's real 9H tempered glass, so it resists scratches and takes the hit if you drop your phone — on top of filtering blue light.
